If the sand is new, all excess sand is watched away with the backwash. Only when there is no more sand coming out of the pump when using the backwash, the sand filter pump can be switched to filter mode. If the sand filter pump is set to filter before this point, the sand will be discharged into the pool.
Using new sand with the 4-way valve:
Step 1:
Remove all sand from the pool
Step 2:
Check that the tank has the correct amount of sand and top it up if necessary
Step 3:
Make sure there is no sand in the central pipe of the tank
Step 4:
Perform a backwash until the water is clean
(You can check this by feeling the water with your hand, as soon as there is no sand left, you can stop)
Nový písek – 6-ti cestný ventil:
Step 1:
Remove all sand from the pool
Step 2:
Check that the tank has the correct amount of sand and top it up if necessary
Step 3:
Make sure there is no sand in the central pipe of the tank
Step 4:
Perform a backwash until the water is clean
(You can check this by feeling the water with your hand, as soon as there is no sand left, you can stop
Step 5:
Set the system to rinse for at least 1 minute to make sure the filter media is placed correctly again
