FAQ

Connecting the Filter pump

Positioning of the hoses

The hoses on the filter pump must be connected from low to high and from high to low. The upper connection of the pump has a ‘’+’’. The hose coming from the lowest connection of the pool (the outlet) must be connected to this. The hose coming from the highest connection of the pool (the inlet) bust be connected to the lowest connection of the pump.

This way you get the connections going from low to high and from high to low. This is necessary to make the pump work as well as possible. The pump is not a self-sufficient pump and works on the pressure of the water in the pool. By connecting the filter pump in this way the highest water pressure is created for the filter pump.

Tip: Do not connect extra hoses to your pump. This will increase the path to and from the pool and requires more water pressure. This will reduce the performance of the pump.

Positioning of the pump

If the filter pump is placed above the water level, the pump cannot function properly. As mentioned earlier, the filter pump is not a self-sufficient pump and works on the water pressure of the pool. The water pressure is then no longer sufficient to get the water pumped around.

Please place the filter pump on the ground next to the pool. It will ten be lower than the water surface. For more instructions on installing your pump, please consult the user manual.
