Setting up the EasySet Pools

The setup of EasySet pools has a lot of influence on the stability of the pool when it is filled and put into use. There are a number of points to take into account. Below are some of these points.

Before filling the pool

Firm, level surface

  • Make sure the ground on which the pool will be placed is flat and level and that there is enough room around the pool
  • Remove pebbles, sticks or other sharp objects to avoid damaging the pool
  • Place the pool on a solid surface, such as tiles, to prevent the pool from sinking

Ground cover

Always place a ground cover underneath the pool to avoid damaging the bottom of the pool. With most pools, the ground cover is supplied in the set. For pools without a ground cover supplied, it is possible to place a different kind of cover underneath the pool.

Laying out the liner

  • Set up an EasySet pool with at least 2 people
  • Lay the liner out all the way so that it is in the middle of the ground cover and has the same amount of space left all around
  • Do not drag the liner to avoid dragging damage!
  • The folds on the bottom of the liner should be smoothed as much as possible. This can be done by pushing the folds from the inside outwards where the wall and bottom meet. Do this only with bare feet!

During the filling process

Inflatable top ring

  • Lay the inflatable top ring outwards
  • Make sure the top ring is outside the wall of the pool and that it is upright. The top ring can now be inflated.
  • Use only a hand pump to inflate the top ring. Do not use a high pressure pump to do this.
  • Do not inflate the top ring too hard. The sun/heat will cause the internal air and the material to expand further.

Filling the pool with water

  • Check that the plug of the water drain outlet on the inside and outside of the liner are closed tight before filling the pool
  • Fill the pool for about 3 centimeters with water to check that no water is leaking anywhere and that there is no noticeable difference in the water height (level). If this is not the case, the pool can be filled further
  • The walls will automatically rise as the water level rises
  • The inflatable top ring will automatically plop into the correct position as soon as the pool is filled far enough

Possible consequences of setting up the EasySet pools incorrectly

If the ground is soft and not level, the liner may roll away.

If the folds on the bottom are not smoothed, the pool will not be able to be set up round and the pool will no longer be stable.

Due to the sun/heat the internal air pressure will rise and the top ring will expand. If the inflatable top ring is inflated too hard, this will create a bulge in the inflatable top ring.
